How do we understand our emotions? At Iceni we have been learning about the Zones of Regulation. This is a way of recognising and understanding emotions using a child friendly common language. When we are in the Green Zone, we are feeling calm, focused and ready to learn. When we are in the Blue Zone we might feel tired, sluggish or bored. We have learnt strategies to move between these zones and this helps us to regulate our emotions.
